For more than 200 years Presbyterian women’s groups have strengthened the mission of the Presbyterian Church and played a major role in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and witnessing to the promise of God’s kingdom. Presbyterian Women (PW) is an independent organization of more than 300,000 women within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). The programming and resource
options for the organization offer a variety of meaningful ways for women to live out their faith.

Our Purpose

“Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the
Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to: nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.”

At Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church we consider all women of the church to be members of PW. Participation ranges from membership in one of several small groups, support for the mission fund raising activities, prayers for the organization, and financial contributions. Presbyterian Women at MWPC is proud of its strong support for mission efforts locally, nationally, and internationally. We do make a difference in the lives of people in need.

• Eve Circle:  2nd Tuesday, 7:15 pm in the Parlor.  Dessert provided
• Rebecca Circle:  2nd Wednesday, 9:30 am in the Parlor.  Child care available if requested.
• Martha Circle:  2nd Thursday, 12 noon in the Parlor.  Bring a sack lunch, dessert provided.
• Rachel Circle:  2nd Wednesday, 7:00 pm at the New England Club in the private dining room.
• In Stitches Circle:  1st and 3rd Thursday, 7:00 pm in the parlor. Bring your stitching project.
