CLASSES FOR THE 2008-2009 YEAR All classes have one teacher and an assistant.
Our one-day classes have 10 children. We try to
maintain 15 children in our two-day classes and
16 children in our 3, 4 and 5-day classes. The 3,4 and 5-day classes are available to children
who are eligible for kindergarten the following year,
with the exception of the Wednesday/Thursday/Friday
PM class. This class is a multilevel class of 3 year olds
and young 4 year olds. The 2-day classes are for
3-4 year olds, although the majority of these children
are two years away from kindergarten. The kindergarten
cut off date is September 30 for most school districts in
our area. The 1 day class is for children who turned 2 by
March 15. If there are unfilled openings in these classes
during the school year, we may consider children of a
slightly younger age. Children in the 1 day program may be
in diapers - all other children need to be potty trained. CLASSES:

(requires the free Adobe Acrobat plug-in) Our program starts in September and ends before Memorial Day.
We follow Forest Hills Schools for most vacations, holidays
and snow days. You will receive a letter from the teacher in mid August.
We transition the children into our environment gradually.
Each family will have an opportunity to come in and meet
the teachers just prior to school starting. We will start the
children over a 2 day period, so that only 1/2 the class is
there on your child's first day. The one day program will
come for one hour on the first day. Presbyterian Preschool does not discriminate in the
enrollment of children upon the basis of race, color,
religion, sex and national origin. TOP | HOME | WEBMASTER |
