Mt. Washington is a Ministry for Today,
Where All Can Feel Welcome and Understood,
While Gaining Insight About Christ,
and Our Purpose
Our Sunday services take a fresh, uplifting approach to worship,
and encourage spiritual and personal growth, and renewal.
We have a passion to care for each other, and to serve
enthusiastically through ministry, fellowship, outreach,
and education. MWPC is dedicated to providing light, and leadership –
and to meeting the needs of the congregation and our

is in need of shoes to give to children for the start of school.
Summer is a great time to clean closets and bring in your
unused shoes for a good cause. New shoes are also accepted. Hunger Fund and Featured Item Drive

spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti
Our “Featured Item” this month is . . .
you guessed it . . . spaghetti! Help us fill the Mini-Mission House in the Mission Center with
boxes of spaghetti. Our committee will take all donations to
the SEM food Pantry to help keep their shelves full. Also,
please support SEM food pantry, YWCA food pantry and the
East End food pantry with regular contributions to the
Hunger Fund by using the brown envelopes in the pews.
All donations are needed and appreciated. 1912 – 2012 - 100 Years at
Mount Washington Presbyterian Church Can you believe it? MWPC will be turning one hundred years
old in just three and one half short years. The Centennial Steering
Committee has been meeting the past several months and is well
on their way towards some exciting events to celebrate our 100th
anniversary, but we would like to hear from you, the members,
as well. Think back, do you remember your very first experience
with MWPC? Did you come with a friend? Did you go to
preschool here? Did you get married here? Did you come to
Vacation Bible School and decide to get involved? Did you join
a new member class? If you have photos of those first
experiences, we would like to include them as part of the
visual celebration being planned. Please place your name/phone number on the back of the
photo and place them in the box marked “Centennial Photos”
located in the Communication Center We will make every
effort to return the photos to you.
