. . . and grow as disciples of Christ.

Adult Education Opportunities

Each Sunday, we continue our study of Jesus’ world with
Dr. James Fleming’s outstanding videos combining archaeology,
history, scripture, and traditions surrounding the time before
Jesus’ birth, his ministry, and his legacy.

We meet for one hour at 9:30 AM in the Beran Parlor. There
is no “homework”, but plenty of opportunity for discussion.
Scriptural passages are furnished for review during the week
after the program. The last of the Lenten Series will be
March 16.

Come join the other “Parlor Theologians” as we learn about
Jesus’ part of the world, his supporters and antagonists, and,
according to Dr. Fleming, the “5th gospel” – the land and people.

WOMEN'S CIRCLES

BIBLE STUDY

Journey Home Bible Study is a small group of committed
believers who meet once a week on Thursday evening to
explore God’s Word and to encourage and affirm each other
in our walk of faith. We use selected materials and guided
discussion to seek understanding of God’s will and purpose for
our lives as revealed in scripture. We alternate between Old
and New Testament studies and make an effort to both
appreciate the history and culture that shaped the original
writing of the scripture and to apply its truth to our everyday
living. We meet at 7pm for a time of fellowship with dessert
and coffee, followed by an hour of study, prayer, and reflection.
We are at this time at full capacity, but welcome drop-ins and
are happy to provide encouragement and advice for others
who are interested in in-home Bible study.
