. . . and grow as disciples of Christ.

Children's Education

Our children are God’s gift to us – a gift we value and treasure.
Our goal in Children’s Ministry is to develop loving relationships
with our children, ultimately nurturing them into a life-long
relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

It’s an awesome and exciting responsibility shared by many
passionate and committed people who love our children and
love our Lord. The program offerings for our children and
families reflect the energy and love that we dedicate to our
kids. In all that we do, we’re guided by the leadership of the
Holy Spirit and the Word of God as we focus on building lasting,
life-changing relationships.

Sunday Morning

During both the 9:30 and 11:00 services we provide child
care/classes for infants through 6th graders. Our biblically based
curriculum integrates worship, mission and education.

Cribbery/Toddler Rooms are for children from birth to two years
of age. We provide warm, loving care so that parents may
participate in worship and education knowing that their
children are in a safe, welcoming environment.

Church School Classes are offered for two year olds through
6th graders. Preschoolers through kindergartners begin directly
in their classrooms. Our 1st through 6th graders begin the
morning in worship with their families and are dismissed
to their classrooms.

Super Wednesday

Every Wednesday, from October through March, first through
sixth graders fill the church with energy, laughter and joy.
“Super Wednesday” is more than a weekly program. It’s a
philosophy that focuses on the importance of strong Christian
relationships. Relationships help children find their way in
today’s world. They give children, parents, and church
members a way to share and grow in their faith and discover
the joy of the ultimate, saving relationship with God through
Jesus Christ.

Super Wednesday is a three-hour, four-part retreat experience
where kids, youth and adults play, learn, worship and share
together. The four parts are biblically-based, following the
example of the early church.

  • Bible Study (Apostles’ Teaching)
Nurtures children into intelligent, obedient and
    biblically-informed discipleship.
  • Play Time (Fellowship)
Through games, hobbies and crafts, children share
interests and have fun with adults in the congregation.
  • Worship Skills (Prayers)
Develop skills through music, preparing to lead the
    congregation in worship.
  • Family Time (Breaking of Bread)
Sharing a meal, conversation and fun as a family of God.

Parents, teens and other adults take part by providing the
manpower and love that make the program so successful.
